Aims and Scope

Hellenic Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (HJVES)

The Hellenic Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery is dedicated to the promotion, update and dissemination of knowledge on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of arterial, venous and lymphatic diseases.

To achieve this goal, the scope of the journal extends to all aspects of vascular disease from basic science to bedside. Contributions on the pathophysiology, primary or secondary prevention, clinical and laboratory investigation, and conservative, open surgical or endovascular management of vascular disorders are welcome.

The journal is aimed at vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, angiologists, anesthesiologists, cardiologists, diabetologists and all other medical specialties involved in the primary, secondary and tertiary care of patients with vascular diseases. The content of the journal includes peer reviewed basic and clinical research articles, reviews, case reports, editorials, images, technical notes (“How I did it”), and debates addressing current controversies.
